How to compare wholesale watch quotations
Two offers with different unit prices are comparable only when they cover the same product and service. Before placing a wholesale watch order, build a common comparison sheet and clarify every difference with the supplier.
1. Match the exact product
Record the brand, complete reference and any suffixes. A similar dial, matching strap colour or shared collection name is not enough. Retain a documented EAN where available and check that the photograph matches the requested reference.
Prepare your list from PRIMEVO’s Citizen, Daniel Wellington, Emporio Armani and Versace selections. Missing specifications remain subject to confirmation.
2. Use the same quantity and currency
Request quotations for an identical basket. Distinguish the overall minimum, any minimum per reference and the rules for mixing models. A price offered for 500 pieces is not directly comparable with a quotation for 20 pieces.
PRIMEVO’s current watch tiers are 10–49, 50–149, 150–299, 300–499 and 500+. They depend on the total watch quantity across brands, while each reference retains its own price grid. The minimum is 10 watches in total, from one piece per reference. Prices and availability are confirmed before payment.
3. Identify what the price includes
- Goods value and quotation currency.
- Freight to the agreed destination and any insurance.
- Treatment of taxes and formalities for the transaction.
- Packaging, accompanying documents and additional services.
For an initial comparison, add the goods value and explicitly quoted charges, then divide by the watch quantity. Keep unknown charges separate: an empty field does not mean zero. If quotations use different currencies, use the same comparison date and distinguish the reference conversion rate from actual conversion charges.
4. Review the terms affecting the order
Check quotation validity, confirmed availability, preparation time, payment method and substitution terms. Clarify warranty arrangements, after-sales service and the procedure for discrepancies on receipt. General promises do not replace the written conditions of your offer.
5. Send a request the supplier can price
Include references, quantities per reference, destination and requested date. Identify acceptable alternatives and any references that cannot be substituted. Read how to order, then request a watch quotation.
