A preorder concerns future supply. It should be distinguished from a lot available for immediate dispatch. Tell us whether you need ready-to-ship stock only or whether a sourcing lead time fits your business.
Prepare a request that can be assessed
Use one line per product: fragrance house, full name, concentration, volume, presentation and quantity. Add the delivery country, preferred date and any acceptable substitutions. Distinguish a 50 ml bottle from a 100 ml bottle, and a tester from a retail presentation.
Confirm the details before reserving
Ask for the proposed quantity per reference, minimum order, price, currency, payment terms and expected availability window. Clarify how an unavailable reference, partial allocation or schedule change would be handled. Your agreed proposal defines the order.
Compare preorders with available offers
Compare the same reference, presentation and quantity. Include freight and any period during which funds would be committed. A lower price alone is insufficient if the goods arrive after your sales window or the final quantity does not meet your needs.
